GDPR Opt-in

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
Irish Moiled Cattle Society

ACTION REQUIRED

As of 25th May 2018 the UK Data Protection Act will be replaced by the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which has implications for all types of organisations. There are certain steps that we as a Society need to take to ensure our processes are in line with the new regulations.

The main implication is updating our documentation of all the personal information we hold, including our member databases. As part of this update we require you, the member to give consent that allows the Irish Moiled Cattle Society to include the personal information we currently hold for you on our member database. GDPR states that members must be a ‘positive opt-in’, which means you cannot provide consent by in-activity. Positive action must be taken when prompted i.e. completing the relevant form, providing a signature and returning. Please note that if this is not completed your details will not appear on our Society databases and you will not be able to register animals in the herd book.

Please complete all fields below. By doing so you confirm that you are happy for all of your personal data which we already hold to remain on the Society databases. Alternatively you can print off this form and return it to the Breed Secretary.

Please note that if this is not completed, your information cannot be included on our member database and/or website and you will be unable to register animals in the herd book.

By opting in through the completion of this form, this will allow us to store and process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
