The Irish Moiled Cattle Society’s inaugural Online Magnificent Moilie sale was topped by a breed record price at auction, of  £3,750 for lot 19, a spring-born heifer calf, Ballyreagh Lily 6730 consigned by N & M Moilies (Nigel Edwards & Michelle McCauley), owned by William Edwards of Tempo, Co. Fermanagh. The purchaser of this elite calf, a new comer to the breed, Robin Dunlop from Ayrshire, Scotland set his sights on purchasing the eye catching Ballyreagh Lily cow and heifer calf outfit and also purchased the mother of lot 19, a quality 3 year old, 2nd calver cow, Ballyreagh Lily 6691 at £2,950, the third highest price of the sale bringing about a resounding combined total price of £6,700 for the impressive Ballyreagh Lily cow and heifer calf outfit.
